Cancellation & Early Return Policy

Quick summary
Cancel 12 hours or more before scheduled delivery for no cancellation fee. After dispatch, a minimum 7-day rental becomes chargeable. Early return refunds are recalculated by actual rental duration, with a 20% fee on the remaining refundable rental amount capped at ₹499.
1. Cancellation Before Dispatch
If you cancel 12 hours or more before the scheduled delivery, there is no cancellation fee.
If you cancel less than 12 hours before the scheduled delivery, a ₹99 cancellation fee will apply.
2. Cancellation After Dispatch
Once the product has been dispatched, a minimum 7-day rental becomes chargeable.
If your original rental duration is 7 days or less, the rental amount will be non-refundable after dispatch.
For rentals longer than 7 days, any eligible refund will be calculated according to the Early Return Policy.
3. Early Return Within the First 7 Days
For rentals longer than 7 days, if you return the product within the first 7 days, the applicable 7-day rental amount plus the Early Return/Cancellation Fee will be charged.
The remaining eligible rental amount will be refunded.
4. Early Return After 7 Days
You can return the product early after the first 7 days.
Your rental amount will be recalculated according to the actual rental duration, based on the applicable rental rates for the product at the time of your booking.
An Early Return/Cancellation Fee will also apply, and the remaining eligible rental amount will be refunded.
5. Early Return/Cancellation Fee
The Early Return/Cancellation Fee is 20% of the remaining refundable rental amount, subject to a maximum of ₹499.
This fee applies only to the refundable rental amount and does not apply to your security deposit.
6. Long-Term Rental Recalculation
Longer rental durations may have lower or discounted rental rates.
If you return the product before completing the selected rental period, the original long-term discounted rate may no longer apply.
Your rental will be recalculated according to the actual rental duration using the applicable product rental rates displayed on HomieHyra at the time of your booking.
7. Security Deposit
Your security deposit is separate from the rental amount and cancellation charges.
It will be refunded after the product is returned and inspected, subject to any deductions for damage beyond normal wear and tear, missing items or accessories, or outstanding dues.
8. Logistics Charges
No separate logistics deduction is made for cancellations or early returns after dispatch.
Once the product has been dispatched, the applicable minimum rental and Early Return/Cancellation terms apply.
9. Refund Calculation
If you are eligible for a refund, we first adjust the applicable rental amount based on your actual rental duration and the applicable Early Return/Cancellation Fee.
The remaining eligible rental balance will then be refunded.
Your security deposit is processed separately after the product is returned and inspected.
10. If HomieHyra Cancels Your Order
If HomieHyra is unable to fulfil your order before dispatch, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid, including your security deposit, without any cancellation fee.
